Hey friends. This post is a difficult one to write.
We are closing The Open Bottle at the end of the month. For nearly 6 years, we’ve provided a friendly space to enjoy local beers and cocktails, or to grab a 6-pack on the way home. Along the way, we’ve made countless friends and memories, watched strangers become friends, and hosted so many awesome events. We’re proud of all of it.
This decision came down to a variety of factors, but we were given the opportunity to transition the space to a new tenant and, after weighing all options against the future of the business, it was a tough but obvious call to make. Like a lot of small businesses, the last few years haven’t been easy on us, and that made the call clearer.

If you preordered Bourbon County with us, like all previous years, please remember we have two days for pickup: 11/27 and 11/28. Shipping orders will go out the week of 11/29.
Between now and the 28th, you’ll see some sales pop up around the shop. Our hours may shift a bit between now and then as we work around our schedules, so check our page or message us before you make the trip.
November 28th will be our final day. We hope you’ll enjoy one final pour with us before the lights shut off.
