This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which The Open Bottle, LLC collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the theopenbottle.com/store website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by The Open Bottle, LLC.

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously.

We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. The Open Bottle, LLC collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:

    • We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  •  To administer a content, promotion, survey or other Site feature
  •  To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
  •  To send periodic emails

The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

Returns & restocking fees

Online purchases can be returned within 7 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible for a return, the purchased product must be unused, still in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received it. We require the original receipt or proof of purchase to be eligible for a return. All goods ordered in error by the User are subject to a restocking fee. The restocking fee is 7% of the grand total of the transaction.

Shipping & Local Pickup

For curbside pickup, please pull up to our curbside sign. We will come out to ask for your ID, so please have it ready. For in-store pickup, please c'mon in and have your ID ready so we can verify your order. Please pickup your order within 3 days.

We ship general merchandise (no alcohol, cans, or bottles) anywhere in the United States. All of our orders will ship within 2 business days from date of payment via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise stated. Stickers purchased individually and not added to a larger order will always ship via USPS standard mail.

Compliance with children’s online privacy protection act

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

Changes to this privacy policy

The Open Bottle, LLC has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Online keg ordering policy

Kegs must be picked up within 3 days from the reservation date and returned within 90 days from the reservation date. If you do not pick up your keg within 3 days, it will be forfeited and relisted for sale. An additional $30 deposit is required and refunded when keg is returned. Deposit will not be refunded if kegs are not returned within 90 days from the reservation date.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Yes, but we only offer this service in-store. Singles are not available online (unless original format is a single bottle/can).

Online Shopping Information

We can fulfill most orders within 1 hour or less. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup. Please do not arrive before receiving that email.

We allow for 3 days to pick up your online order. If you'd like an extension, please contact us. We can usually accommodate most requests.

Please make sure you enter the full name of the Additional Pickup Person in your Order Notes at the cart. Please make sure your Additional Pickup Person states your full name or order number when picking up your order.

This error means that you have products in your cart that are not available at a single location. Please visit each product's page to see where it is available for pickup, and add items that are only available at your preferred pickup location.

You should receive 2 emails after placing your order. The first is your confirmation email stating we’ve received your order. The second email will arrive once we’ve fulfilled your order and it’s ready for pickup.

If you don’t receive the second email 2 hours after placing your order, please call 708-263-0449 for our Tinley Park location or 815-293-6350 for our Lockport location to inquire about your order’s status.

If you preordered a product, please refer to the product's page for an estimated time of arrival. You will receive another email once your preorder is ready for pickup.
