Tasting Notes: Fresh Brewed Coffee – Chocolate Fudge – Toffee

Polar Bear is a decadent, barrel-aged imperial stout that brings the perfect balance of warmth, richness and bold coffee. As part of our Sleepy Bear series we aged this variant for 24 months in Willett rye barrels. These barrels imparted a deep, smooth rye character with hints of toasted oak and vanilla. Once extracted from the barrel we rested it on some freshly roasted Outsiders Blend coffee from our buddies at Ten Drops Coffee. The final result is absolutely incredible with huge notes of chocolate fudge, toffee and bold yet refreshing coffee. A perfect beer for a cold winter night! 13.5% AbV
